blood-rushed riddlesI miss you.

I miss you, like a gash misses the knife that caused it.

Once upon a time, you played jigsaw with me.
You made a onehundred parts jigsaw out of me and hid one part,
the one I miss is..-

[Takin' a deep breath.]

Blood spilled out and I tried everything to fill the hollow spot.

Other knives. Spoons. Forks. Tea-bags. Memories. Ash. Clay (Even burned
clay). Paint particles. Book pages. Sand grains. Dust. Wine. Salt. Ink.
N o t h i n g matched. Nothing..

The mélange, out of cells suspended in a liquid called blood plasma, turned my clothes purple and my hands red.

And nothing fits.

This calmness is quite difficult to explain
I think I really am going insane
This case we're in is quite scary, it is
I guess I'll just try to stay and not miss
It's hard to keep at it when you feel very dead
When things are all just words that you've said
I don't understand how I should cope
I guess I can just pray and hope
Bravery is now growing very dim
It's getting quite tiring, I'm loosing all whim
Whatever may happen I feel I'm alone
My heart is hardening again-turning to stone

Awkward…

Confined there is no way forward,

And no escape route to look towards.

Forced and fake conversations.

A very time consuming situation,

Words subjected to manipulation.

The moment persists,

Eye contact impossible to resist.

The occasional glance over that is always missed.

Living a Lie.Living a Lie.

You say things you don't mean when you're angry.
You call me a waste of space and that you can't stand me.

When the dust settles you say you don't mean it.
You say I should know better than to believe it.

As usual I foolishly upkeep your illusive hold on me.
I allow you to mute my thoughts and take control of me.

You promise and reassure me that it will never happen again.
That this is the last time and you will put it all to an end.

But I know promises only comfort fools,
Who readily allow others to pull the wool

Over our eyes because it is easier to swallow the lies.

A cup of coffee, a faked smile,
Another sleepless night.
Forget the sorrow; pretend you're fine;
In the end you'll be alright.

And then the memories suddenly rise,
And then emotions are running high,
And all you want to do is –
Stop, you've got to fake a smile.

The mask must never, ever, fall.
At times you wish to let it go,
