This is Lauren, one of the characters in

. The drawing was made for ~sana24's contest.
Lauren's description, as stated by ~sana24 :
Gender: Female
Age: later 20's
Role: One of the Main Antagonists. She trades power and fortune for souls and allegiance to her. She has Phil working for her
Powers: Lauren can enter and mess with people's heads; she can read memories, control thoughts/ideas. Lauren also possesses forces that can attack people or grab objects (these forces look similar to shadows) Lauren is also a demon so she possesses superhuman strength and agility.
Personality: Lauren is very sadistic and manipulative. Her favorite pastimes include torture and collecting souls. She is however mentally unstable and is prone to psychotic outbursts and meltdowns.
Physical features: She is a demon so she has red eyes, dark colored hair and pale skin. She is relatively tall for a woman (5ft 9) and she has a well-proportioned/"womanly" body. Lauren has long black hair and she dresses in all black (sometimes gothic) clothes.
I was inspired a bit by misunderstanding at first: I took "fortune" to mean luck, fate, and so thought about the Roman Fortuna and the Greek Moirai. It all made me view Lauren as a fate-weaver of sorts, as well as a soul-huntress. This is why I gave her the spider (temporary) tattoo on the shoulder; I find spider to symbolize both the weaving and the prey-collecting. For this reason I gave her the charms-bracelet, though here each charm represents a soul taken, or her powers.
Wrapped around her left arm is a leather whip.
For representing her unstable mentality I added the tear-like tattoo/make-up, as well as the scar in the inner side of her left elbow.
Also, I didn't make her more evil looking, for I think that many times the most dangerous person is the one that seems normal and have more self-control and apparent calmness than would be expected.
